Ferrari have been in Grand Prix Racing since the 1950 Monaco Grand
Prix and has become of the most well know and followed team in F1. The
team holds 8 constructors titles, which means there are the second most
successful team in Formula One, just one behind Williams.
However Ferrari is not quite the team it was, and so Michael Schumacher
went to the team in 1996 to try and bring it back up to a competitive level,
which he has clearly achieved as they are second in the constructors championship
so far this year, a far way behind the mighty McLarens, but about 60 points
clear of Benetton. |
